Hello! I'm Lewis
Hotels, Diving, Wine, Food & Extraordinary placesAbout Me
Hi, I’m Lewis, the founder of Roaming Whispers.
Travel has been part of my life for as long as I can remember. Over the years I’ve explored destinations across the world, stayed in thousands of hotels and developed a passion for discovering what truly makes an experience memorable.
While many travel websites focus only on destinations, I find myself drawn to the details that often go unnoticed. The hotel staff who remember your name, the sommelier who introduces you to a new favourite wine, the hidden restaurant tucked away from the crowds, or the dive site that leaves you speechless.
As a qualified Dive Master and lifelong traveller, I share honest reviews, destination guides and personal experiences to help fellow travellers discover places worth remembering.
Roaming Whispers is built around a simple idea: Travel isn’t just about where you go, It’s about how a place makes you feel.

How I Became a Full-Time Traveller
My journey to becoming a full-time traveler began with a passion for exploring new places and experiencing different cultures. After years of balancing travel with my job, I took the leap, deciding to turn my love for travel into a career. With a focus on storytelling, photography, and sharing authentic experiences, I now inspire others to explore the world and embrace the transformative power of travel. No matter how far that may be!
Recent Travels
Recently, I explored the vibrant streets of Ciutadella, delved into the art scene in Florence, and strolled along pristine Mauritian beaches , each offering new insights and unforgettable experiences.
Ugly Butterfly | Where Cornwall Meets Fine Dining

The Best Beaches in Menorca: From Famous Coves to Hidden Corners
If there is one thing Menorca does exceptionally well, it is beaches. Actually, that’s probably underselling it. Menorca doesn’t simply have beaches. It has the kind of beaches that make you question whether your eyes are working properly. Water that looks digitally...
The Perfect Week in Menorca: Why This Mediterranean Island Keeps Calling Me Back
There are islands that impress you. Then there are islands that quietly work their way into your heart and refuse to leave. Menorca falls firmly into the second category. I’ve travelled extensively throughout my life, stayed in thousands of hotels and visited more...
