The Knickerbocker delivered exactly that.
New York offers no shortage of exceptional hotels.
Yet very few combine location, comfort and hospitality with such ease.
Years after my stay, what I remember most isn’t Times Square.
It isn’t the skyline.
It isn’t even the room itself.
It’s the concierge helping strangers without expecting anything in return.
Because at its very best, hospitality isn’t about buildings.
It’s about people.
